Kelowna Estate Planning Society: Battle of the Lawyers

My friend Geoff White and I will be doing a "Battle of the Lawyers" presentation at the Kelowna Estate Planning Society meeting on Tuesday, March 13, 2007. We will take a fictitious case and each of us will argue one side. Our case will invove issues concerning a joint tenancy, undue influence, mental capacity, a secret trust, and misuse of a power of attorney (actually I am arguing that there was no misuse of the power of attorney).

I love doing these moot cases. You get to make the arguments, but with a lot less pressure than in a real case.
